Walk-in Services 
The 23 MDG does not have “Sick Call” but does offer walk-in services during specific times. If you have an emergency, Call 911. 
 - Moody Air Force Base does not offer urgent or emergency care services.

Symptom Based Walk-In Services: 
Patients will check in at their PCM clinic’s front desk. 
Check-in Hours for Walk-in Services  
 - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday , 8-11 a.m., 1-3 p.m.  
- Wednesday, 1-3 p.m.  
Services Offered for Patients over 13 years old  
For any symptoms or services other than those listed below, contact your PCM team through the 
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal or call the appointment line at 229-257-APPT (2778)
 - Pregnancy tests
- Cough/Cold Symptoms  
- Sore throat  
- Burning with urination 
- Abnormal Vaginal Discharge 
- Suture/Staple removal 
- Emergency Contraception (see note below) 
- Flyers only: Return to Fly Clearance 
Patients who have been seen in the clinic previously and have been given direction by the provider to walk-in may walk-in during the same hours for the following items: 
 - Wart removal  
- Vitamin B-12/Depo-Provera/Testosterone injections  
- Three-day blood pressure check  
- Pulmonary function check   
- EKGs 
Active duty patients experiencing a mental health crisis may walk-in to mental health during any open MTF hours or call the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988. 
Patients age 6-13  
 - Cough/Cold Symptoms 
- Sore Throat 
Patients age 3-6  
Lab
Provider ordered or IMR related labs are available for walk-in during all operating hours 
X-Ray
Provider ordered X-Rays are available for walk-in during all operating hours 
Emergency Contraceptive
Beneficiaries who have a need for Emergency Contraception, “Plan B,” may walk-in to the Pharmacy during MTF open hours. The female patient needing the medication will check into the kiosk and select “Speak with a Pharmacist.” The Pharmacy will call the patient to the window for a discrete conversation and dispense the medication.  
Contraceptive Care Walk-In Clinic 
 - The 23rd Medical Group's walk-in Contraceptive Clinic is located in the Women’s Health Clinic at Building 899. 
- All beneficiaries are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment. 
- The walk-in clinic is open every Friday, 8 - 11 a.m. 
The clinic will be available 8 - 11 a.m. the Thursday before if closed the following Friday due to a holiday or down day. 
 - Hormonal patches and vaginal rings 
- Prescription of oral contraceptive pills 
- Same day insertion of IUDs (Mirena, Paragard, Nexplanon) 
- Emergency Contraception (Plan B only; must be taken within 72 hours; it can also be prescribed directly by the 23rd MDG pharmacy. 
- Depo-Provera injections 
- Condoms 
- Contraception Counseling 
Important Information  
 - No appointment is necessary. 
- Active duty service members have priority. 
- Services are available to beneficiaries 18 and older on a space-available basis. 
- All female patients will be expected to report to the lab to provide a urine sample for a pregnancy test.  
- Please advise the laboratory personnel that pregnancy test is needed for the walk-in contraceptive clinic. Afterwards, please report to the Women’s Health Clinic. 
- Please understand that some circumstances may require us to schedule a future appointment to meet all your contraceptive needs.
