Health Services

Women's Health & Pregnancy

Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care, as well as health issues that are unique to women, including:

  • Pregnancy
  • Menopause
  • Conditions of the Female Organs

Be sure to get early and regular prenatal care to ensure you have a healthy pregnancy. You should also get recommended breast cancer, cervical cancer, and bone density screenings.
Our goal is to ensure the health and readiness of all women at every stage of life.

Women’s Health Services

We provide the following Women’s Health services:

  • Annual well woman exams
  • Contraceptive Care
  • Family planning
  • Dysplasia
  • Emergency contraception
  • Breast cancer screening
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Infertility counseling
  • Other gynecological exams

Emergency Departments should only be used for the possible loss of life, limb, or eyesight. If you think you might need an urgent care visit, please call the appointment line; they will be able to either schedule you a same-day appointment in the clinic or will send a message to the Women's Health Clinic. The provider or nurse will call you back and the decision will be made whether to refer you to an Urgent Care center or for you to come into the clinic. After duty hours, the appointment line can connect you to the Nurse Advice Line; the nurse can triage your needs and direct you to the closest Emergency Room or Urgent Care center.

Pregnancy tests should be scheduled through the appointment line. If you think you may be pregnant, the appointment line will schedule an appointment with a technician. This scheduled appointment time will ensure that the technician is available. You must get a pregnancy test at the medical group to obtain a referral to obstetrics or a midwife. If you are new to the area and have already had a pregnancy confirmed at another military treatment facility, please inform the appointment line when you call.
