Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment (ADAPT)

The Air Force recognizes alcoholism as a preventable, progressive, treatable, and non-compensable disease that affects the entire family. The ADAPT Clinic provides prevention, substance abuse education, assessments and rehabilitation for active duty members and Guard and Reserve members on active orders. 

Services provided in ADAPT:

  • Substance Abuse Evaluation and outpatient treatment

  • Referrals for medical detoxification and rehabilitation at local civilian hospitals

  • Individualized Education via Alcohol Brief Counseling sessions for non-diagnosed clients
