Patient and Family Partnership Council
What is the PFPC?
The Patient and Family Partnership Council captures the voices and insights of patients and families to improve the care experience by elevating to leadership any current or chronic issues to make positive changes within the 23rd Medical Group. The PFPC is a council comprised of patient advisors who work in collaboration with our facility members to enhance the quality of care and patient experience.
Advisors are asked to give feedback about their experiences as a patient/family member and help plan changes to improve how we care for patients. Patient/family advisors provide a voice that represents all patients and families of patients who receive care at the 23rd Medical Group - Moody Air Force Base.
Mission
Provide information, advice, and recommendations to the 23rd Medical Group commander and the Defense Health Agency on issues related to access to care, quality of care, administrative activities, and the patient and family experience of care.
Vision
A partnership between patients, families, and our medical treatment facility staff to promote and support patient centered values, helping to shape services, focusing on patient and family-centered care.
Objective
To ensure patients, family members, and staff collaborate in information sharing and program development to enhance the overall health care experience for our entire Team Moody community.
