Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate (DAVA)

Intimate partner violence, domestic violence, or domestic abuse are all terms that describe a pattern of behaviors used to exert power and control over a partner. Abuse can include verbal, emotional, sexual, intimidation, threats, isolation, extreme jealousy, and physical violence. The DAVA can be reached 24/7 via 912-217-6661 to provide comprehensive services including, but not limited to: safety planning, risk assessment, information about restricted and unrestricted reporting options; advocacy for a Military Protective Order or Civilian Protective Order, support during medical or legal appointments, and access to additional resources.

Location: The Domestic Abuse Victim Advocate is located within the Mental Health Clinic, which is located in the east end of the 23d Medical Group main building across from the Dental Clinic
