Laboratory

The 23d Medical Group - Moody Air Force Base Laboratory Clinic services include:

• Hematology
• Chemistry
• Serology
• Urinalysis

We refer any tests we can’t do in-house to other military and civilian facilities. Laboratory staff enter the orders electronically.

Patients must report to the laboratory clinic for specimen collection.

If the lab is going to be closed (ex: federal holidays), and you need lab services that aren’t routine individual medical readiness labs, be sure to provide your sample before 1:30 p.m. on the day before the lab is closed. The lab can’t collect certain samples after this time due to specimen shipping and processing times.

Results 

The laboratory doesn’t provide results to patients over the phone. Contact the ordering provider to discuss your results.

You can view your results through your MHS GENESIS Patient Portal once testing is complete. Look under “Results and Measurements.”
