Dependent Care
We do not have a walk-in sick call. If you are not able to book an appointment you can leave a message with your team nurse and they will give you a call back. Online appointments are available. Use TRICARE Online to schedule an appointment. Unless it is a true emergency, all TRICARE Prime beneficiaries enrolled at the 23d MDG are required to contact their primary care manager team during operational hours before seeking medical care from a network provider. Emergency care does not require a referral.
For after hours, weekend and holiday, care advice is available by calling the Nurse Advice line. Call 800-TRICARE (874-2273), select option 1 to speak with a nurse. The nurse can answer urgent care questions, provide advice and help you find a doctor if needed. When out of the local area, contact TRICARE South/Humana at 800-444-5445 for care options. Please see our local are policy for further emergency or urgent care information.
Communicate with your health care team through MiCare Secure Messaging. If you have not signed up, you must first sign up with your local clinic in person before you will have access due to security reasons. This can be accomplished at the Family Health front desk. MiCare allows patients to request medication renewals, receive test/lab results, communicate with your health care team on "non-urgent" matters and request a copy of your immunizations records.
