Walk-In Contraceptive Services

Get all your contraceptive care in one place: the 23rd Medical Group's walk-in contraceptive clinic, located at the Women’s Health Clinic.

All beneficiaries, regardless of gender identity, are eligible for care and counseling at walk-in contraceptive clinics and can receive education on safe sexual practices, contraceptives, and STI prevention and treatment.

The walk-in clinic is open every Friday, 9 - 11 a.m.; the clinic will be available 9 - 11 a.m. the Thursday before if closed the following Friday due to a holiday or down day.

We offer the following products and services:
  • Hormonal patches and vaginal rings
  • Prescription of oral contraceptive pills
  • Same day insertion of IUDs (Mirena, Paragard, Nexplanon)
  • Emergency contraception (Plan B only; must be taken within 72 hours);
it can also be prescribed directly by the 23rd MDG pharmacy.
  • Depo-Provera injections
  • Condoms
  • Contraception Counseling

How it Works

No appointment is necessary.

Active duty service members have priority.

Services are available to beneficiaries 18 and older on a space-available basis.

All female patients will be expected to report to the lab to provide a urine sample for a pregnancy test.

Please advise the laboratory personnel that pregnancy test is needed for the walk-in contraceptive clinic. Afterwards, please report to the Women’s Health Clinic.

Please understand that some circumstances may require us to schedule a future appointment to meet all your contraceptive needs.
